Oscar Sowell will be playing his first season at MiraCosta College.  He played one season of Soccer at NCAA Division 3 Whittier College and played goal keeper for the MiraCosta men's soccer team in the Fall. 

High School: Oscar played two seasons of varsity high school soccer at Rancho Buena Vista under coaches Tim Roty & Tim Leary winning the Avocado League Championship his senior season (2013/14).  During that year, Oscar and the Longhorns went on a solid semifinals run the in CIF San Diego section playoffs.  Oscar earned recognition as a North San Diego County Senior All-Star and appeared in the prestigous Senior Showcase.  Oscar was also recognized as the Male Longhorn of the Year recipient, and award given to one senior male and female recognizing their overall quality.  

Oscar's family includes parents Tim & Teri Sowell and brothers Max & Jeremy.
