MiraCosta's Women's Soccer team kicks off the Fall season on Friday, August 25th, at 4:00 pm with a home game against the Norco College Mustangs from the Orange Empire Conference.  Norco College is in the city of Norco which is in Riverside County approximately forty miles east of Los Angeles. 

 The MiraCosta Spartans ranked in the top twenty teams in the state last year with a record of 14-4-1 while.  Norco will have played two home games prior to this first away game. 

 MiraCosta's roster of twenty-six student-athletes is almost evenly divided between classes with fourteen freshman and twelve sophomores.  Most of them live in the Tri-City area but a few come from San Marcos, Escondido, Valley Center, and even Walnut Creek up in the Bay Area.

The Mustang's roster of twenty athletes is about two-thirds Freshman and one-third Sophomores.  They reside in the Riverside and Moreno Valley area.   

 The field is in great shape, come on out and cheer the Spartans on to victory Friday at 4:00 pm.
