MiraCosta College Surf Team - Home of the Champions

The MiraCosta Surf Team competes as a club sport in the NSSA organization and has a long tradition of success.  The Spartans were crowned National Champions of the Collegiate Division in the NSSA in 2000, 2004, 2011 and 2012.  The team also finished in 2nd Place in the National Rankings in 2013 and 2018. MiraCosta finished 3rd in the Nation a total of three times since 2000. For nearly two decades MiraCosta has been the preeminent collegiate surf team in the NSSA.
