After a weekend  in Las Vegas playing some of the toughest competition community colleges have to offer, the Spartans returned to California and performed at a high level in a 3-0 sweep against Mt. San Antonio College.  MiraCosta, led by Coach Kristen Wright, is proving to be on the path towards challenging the top teams in the CCCAA.  The Spartans won the match by final scores of 25-12, 25-12 and 25-20 and will take the momentum into a big weekend playing at College of the Canyons on Friday and Glendale College on Saturday. 

Sophomores Violeti Faleumu and Claudia Mathews played well for the Spartans who now improve their overall record to 9-6.
