After a slow start the Spartans pulled it together to beat College of the Desert 3-1.  Desert won the first game by a score 25-23 but MiraCosta recovered to win the next three. The Spartans were led by freshman Claire Kinder who had 16 kills and hit a .583.  Claudia Mathews and Makayla Sua supported Kinder with 12 and 10 kills respectively.

The dynamic setting duo of Cady Delay and Andrianna Visesio distributed the ball with 27 and 22 assists.  Cady Francis, Madeleine Alper and Lana Salazar anchored the defense with a combined 38 digs.

MiraCosta improves to 21-2 and a perfect 6-0 in conference play. The 6th ranked team in the state plays their next home game on Tuesday November 8th versus cross-town rival Palomar College. The match begins at 6pm.
