The sixth ranked MiraCosta women's volleyball team took the court on Wednesday at Mt. San Jacinto College in defense of their perfect conference record.  After two close games the Spartans made a clear statement with a 25-12 win to close out the 3-0 sweep and improve to 20-2 overall.  The victory moves MiraCosta's conference record to 5-0.

Libero Cady Francis made her presence felt with 20 digs, 18 service attempts and two aces.  Maddison Penrod led all players with eleven kills and Makayla Sua contributed ten kills. Andrianna Visesio had a double-double with 15 assists and 10 digs.  Cady Delay had 20 assists and 5 digs. 

The Spartans are next in action on October 28th at home at 6pm versus College of the Desert.
