Women's Soccer All-Conference Awards

The MiraCosta women's soccer team won its first ever conference championship with an undefeated run in conference play.  Much of this can be attributed to their All Conference Coach of the Year, Matt Hall.  It is only his second year at MiraCosta, but under his guidance, the Spartans went to the 3C2A state playoffs and finished with an overall record of 16-3-2 and a number seven ranking in the state.

Seven of the Spartan women soccer players were also named All Conference with Aleah Minnich (#4) as PCAC Conference Player of the Year.  She is a sophomore center back who is also on the 3C2A All-State Team. This season, she had eight goals and eight assists with a 0.444 shot percentage.

Forward Lena Bachman (#14), another All Conference player, had fourteen goals and four assists.  She is joined in All Conference honors by Elisa Dunn (#17), a left-back, with nine goals, six assists, and a 0.500 shot percentage.

Another dynamic player named All Conference, Jordan Fawcett (#25), is a midfielder with four goals and nine assists.  Freshman biology major and forward Jazmyne Arispe (#11) attained seven goals and thirteen assists. Another freshman biology major, Araceli Mejia (#19) is a defender with six goals and three assists. Freshman Raigan Jager (#24) from Carlsbad achieved five goals and two assists.
