The 9th ranked MiraCosta women's soccer team battled with Mesa College to a 0-0 draw on Tuesday evening. The Spartans had multiple shots but could not get anything in the back of the net, forcing the Olympians goalkeeper to save a total of eight shots. The Spartans move to 10-1-1 overall and 6-0-1 in the conference, while Olympians are now 4-2-2, 3-0-2. 

The Spartans have kept a clean sheet for four straight matches. Unfortunately, the Spartans lost their win streak, but they left the field undefeated in conference play. They currently remain in first-place in the conference with seven points, with the second place Olympians with five.

The Spartans have a bye Friday, and then will be on the road until Oct 20th when they host Southwestern College.
