Women's Soccer Dominates Palomar

On Friday the MiraCosta College women's soccer team took a big step forward with a 3-0 win over the Palomar College Comets. The young Spartan team dominated from the outset with numerous chances to score and putting three in the net.  MiraCosta received strong play from many players on the field but worth noting is anther goal by Brooke Aldrich. In addition to Aldrich's goals, the Kelsey Newman and Alyssa Hall both scsored as well. Goals were assisted by Corina Rodarte, Adrianna Ganguli and Peyton Brittain.

The Spartans improve to 2-2 in conference play and 3-5-2 overall.  They are next in action on Tuesday October 13th at 3:30pm as the second game of a double-header with the mens' team.  The double-header will take place at MiraCosta College with the men starting at 1:30pm and the women at 3:30pm against San Diego City College.
