The Spartan women's basketball team had a long drive out to the College of the Desert but it didn't show in their play as they beat the Roadrunners by 22.  An 84-62 win gives MiraCosta their 13th of the season, their 6th in a row and ten wins out of their last eleven games.  The Spartans improve to 13-3 and 1-0 in conference play. Tervetta McGee led the way with a dominatnt performance scoring 29 points and grabbing 17 rebounds.  Colleen Murphy's game was equally impressive with 21 points and 17 rebounds.

MiraCosta outrebounded the Roadrunners 70-37 leading to 23 more shot attempts. 

The Spartans are next in action on Friday at home against Mt. San Jacinto College at 7PM.
