In the first of two scrimmages, that MiraCosta will participate in this season, the beach team put together a strong team performance. They competed against Santa Ana, Fullerton, and Golden West College. The Spartans had seven teams participating in the scrimmage. The Spartans will host San Diego State Club Beach Volleyball team and Palomar College this Friday at their home beach, Frazee Beach in Carlsbad.
