Madison Rowe Earns MiraCosta College's Highest Academic Award

Women's basketball player Madison Rowe and the four other Medal of Academic Merit Recipients.

Madison Rowe, a returning player for the MiraCosta women's basketball team, has achieved a tremendous amount in her time as a Spartan.  On the court Rowe helped the Spartans earn a conference championship in 2019-20, finishing with a perfect 12-0 record.  This however, isn't her greatest accomplishment while at MiraCosta.  It was just announced that she and just four other students earned the MiraCosta's Medal of Academic Merit, the college's highest academic award.  

In three semester's Rowe has earned 58.5 units with a perfect 4.0 GPA.  In addition, she was named to the President's List and Phi Thetta Kappa.  Rowe is a Liberal Arts Math and Science major that plans to pursue Nursing as a career.

Rowe, who stands at 6-2, is eligible to return and play her sophomore year in 2021-22.
