MiraCosta put together a strong effort this evening taking care of conference opponent Mt. San Jacinto in three sets (25-21, 25-19, 25-14). The team was led by sophomore setter Jessica Zieg, Jessica had 36 assists, 1 ace, and 5 digs. Sophomore Brianna Sizemore led all attackers with 10 kills and added 7 digs. Freshman Leah McManus had 9 kills and hit a .400 in only 2 sets. Last weeks honorable mention PCAC Player of the Week Madeline Sims continued her strong play with 8 kills at a .353 efficiency. Breanna Kirklen put away 5 kills on 10 attempts, hitting a .500. Freshman Libero Cady Francis led all players with 13 digs.
