MiraCosta was one of 15 colleges selected in the state to offer a 4-year degree. MiraCosta College will offer a degree in biotechnology. Enrollment began in fall 2017.

Surf Team

The MiraCosta College surf team competes in the college division of the National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA).

 

Rugby Club

The Rugby Club competes in the Gold Coast Conference and the NSCRO national tournament. In 2018 the men's rugby club team won the NSCRO National Championship.
