The MiraCosta women's volleyball team was on fire tonight. For their 12th strait win the Spartans swept their cross-town rival, Palomar College, by final scores of 25-13, 25-9, and 25-13.  Setter Hayley Huntsman dished out 28 assists and led an attack efficiency of a .383.  Huntsman also had five kills.  Violeti Faleumu led all players with 10 kills and 10 digs while hitting a .500.  Riley Bosworth had seven kills and added four blocks.  Jillian Nickens contributed seven kills in just two sets and hit a .600.

The 13th ranked Spartans are now 19-6 and  5-0 in conference play.  They will host Mt. San Jacinto on Wedesday at 6pm.
