Headed by coach Frank Zimmerman, this year's MiraCosta men's soccer team produced five All Conference players. Jose Mondragon (#14), a sophomore from Escondido, was named Defensive Player of the Year in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference. He started in fourteen out of sixteen games and achieved one goal and two assists.
Juan "Tato" Serrano (#8), a freshman midfielder who is studying structural engineering, started in all eighteen games and finished with five goals and five assists. Sophomore forward Alexis Aparicio (#10), another All Conference player, earned eleven goals, two assists, and had forty-one shots.
Denzel Zepeda (#17), a freshman midfielder from Torrey Pines High School, played in fifteen games and attained three goals, four assists, and took thirteen shots. One of his goals was a game-winning goal. The last All Conference player is defender John Rivera (#4). He started in all eighteen games and was a foundational piece of the defensive line.
