The men's soccer team has endured quite an up and down season thus far.  Depite a roster that has has been depleted significantly since August the team has rallied and managed to win two and tie one game in their last three.  Tuesday's challenge would be another tough match up for the Spartans against conference leading Southwestern College. 

MiraCosta came out early and established their possession of the ball.  The Spartans played the visiting Jaguars even for 70 minutes until feeling the impact of the extreme heat and short bench.  Southwestern went on to score three goals in the remaining time to earn the win and secure the top spot in the conference. 

The Spartans will next be in action on Friday, October 27th at San Diego City College at 3pm.
