Keli Ross-Mau is entering his 3rd year as the head coach/advisor of the Rugby Club.  In just two short years Coach Ross-Ma'u has led the program from a local campus club to a competitive team that has given local MiraCosta students the opportunity to compete against universities like UC SanDiego, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, USD, SDSU, Cal Poly SLO, Pt. Loma Nazarene, CSU Fullerton and Grand Canyon. 

Under Coach Ross-Ma'u the club grew to 44 members on the men's side and 19 members on the women's side.  The men's team finished the year with a 10-2 record.

In 2018 Coach Ross-Ma'u led the men's rugby program to a NSCRO National Championship. 

In 2019 Coach Ross-Ma'u led the women's program to the NSCRO National Tournament, finishing 14th.
