The MiraCosta men's basketball game overcame a slow start to win their 11th game of the season, with a final score of 77-53 over visiting Imperial Valley College. IVC made three 3-point shots to start the game but after time the Spartans woke up and took control of the game.  Remington Rofer led the way for MiraCosta scoring 26 points.  Isaiah Lewis returned to the court and added 10 points but also was a catalyst for ball movement and easy baskets.  

Kobe Smith and Javion Langston added 14 and 10 points respectively.

With the win the Spartans improve to 11-10 overall and will play on Monday at Home against Cuyamaca College.
