After their successful season the men's basketball team at MiraCosta College received a handful of honors. At the top of the list was sophomore guard Marcus Foster who was named to the 1st Team.  Foster averaged 11 points per game shooting an impressive 45% from behind the 3-point line.  In a non-conference game versus Fresno City he made nine of 13 three point shots, scoring his season high of 25.

Sophomore Dirk Helaire II and freshman Lamont Couch Jr were named to the Honorable Mention team.

The Spartans finished their season with a 16-12 record.
