Long Beach, California – Despite challenging rainy conditions, the MiraCosta College women's beach volleyball team remained undefeated against community colleges, sweeping Moorpark 5-0 and securing a commanding 4-1 victory over host Long Beach City.

The Spartans' top pair, Alexis Jones and Kiara Keibel, led the way with two dominant wins, playing with a noticeable confidence. Kate Beezer and Keira Heckel also delivered a strong performance, earning straight-set victories against both opponents.

Now boasting a 7-2 overall record, MiraCosta remains a perfect 7-0 against community college competition, with wins over College of the Desert, Mt. San Antonio, Mesa, Cerritos, Irvine Valley, Moorpark, and Long Beach City. The Spartans have been dominant, recording five sweeps in those seven victories.

MiraCosta returns to action on Friday, February 21, when they travel to Santa Barbara to continue their strong start to the season.
