After their 4-1 victory today the MiraCosta beach volleyball team completes the two match sweep over conference opponenet Mt. San Jacinto.  In the first week of the conference schedule MiraCosta won 5-0.  The Spartans won in positions 1-4 and lost in the 5's in three games.

Elle Harrity and Cameron Martinez were strong in the 1's position winning 20-8 and 20-13. In the 4's position Summer Hoslett and Makayla Hicks also won easily by scores of 21-13 and 21-11.

With the wins MiraCosta holds an early lead in the conference standings at 2-0.  The Spartan's overall record is 4-4 heading into next week matches against Palomar and Grossmont.

2's Barker/Peralta  won 21-19, 21-13

3's Cortez/So'oto won 22-20, 21-17

4's Hicks/Hoslett won 21-13, 21-11

5's Johnson/Morgan lost 12-21, 21-16, 9-15
