Although having had opportunities to coach at higher levels, Coach Adelman's decision to stay at MiraCosta College allowed him to be a dedicated father and husband along with his coaching and teaching. Adelman, the self-proclaimed "Bald Eagle of Oceanside," continues to impact the basketball community by acting as a mentor and advisor for coaches all over the nation.
