The Spartans earned a valuable win over Santa Barbara City College by a 3-1 score.  Reilly Bosworth led the way with 19 kills hitting a.361. Claire Kinder added 10 kills with no errors and 17 digs.  Violeti Faleumu had eight kills and led all players with 15 digs.  Hayley Huntsman contributed 40 assists and nine digs.

Earlier in the day the Spartans dropped a 1-3 decision to a tough LA Pierce College team. Bosworth led all players with 12 kills hitting a .381.  Claudia Mathews and Halie Hess had 10 and nine kills respectively.  

MiraCosta is next in action on Friday September 8th at Canada College in Northern California.
