After a successful campaign in 2016 the women's volleyball team at MiraCosta College is beginning a new season with high hopes. A roster that includes eight freshman and eight sophomores opened their season with a scrimmage against Morningside College on Wednesday and one at Point Loma Nazarene University today.
Returning players include Claire Kinder, Chloe Tripp, Violeti Faleumu, and Claudia Mathews.
The team's first official match will be in the LA Pierce College tournament on August 25th and 26th.
