The Spartan women's soccer team opened their Pacific Coast Athetlic Conference schedule with a win against Miramar College.  The final score was 2-0 with both goals being scored by sophomore Jenna Heatherly.  After an even first half of plapy MiraCosta found opportunities to take advantage of Miramar's lack up bench players.  Heatherly was aggressive attacking for the entire 90 minutes and her consistency paid off in the two goals.

The win improves MiraCosta's record to 4-2 and 1-0 in conference. The Spartans will return to the field on Friday, September 22nd against Palomar College on the road.
