MiraCosta received great defensive energy from Helena Betancourt, Savannah Beasley, Victoria Wilson and Chynna Cochran.

Late in the game MiraCosta received a clutch three point shot by Julia Iman and then had to finish the game with a defensive possession to hold on for the three point win.

The MiraCosta women's basketball team will next be in action on Wednesday at San Diego City College at 5PM.
