On Tuesday the MiraCosta men's soccer team travelled to San Diego Mesa College for their fifth conference match. The lone goal by freshman Lucca Mina propelled the Spartans to the win combined with the shutout by goalkeeper Andrew Clayton. Wilver Crespo and Manuel Kariuki anchored the defensive effort in support of Clayton in the shutout.
With the win MiraCosta improves to 2-3 in conference play, tied for 5th. The Spartans are next in action on Tuesday, October 2nd at home against Cuyamaca College. Kick off is at 4PM.
