The MiraCosta men's soccer team is starting to gain momentum in their season.  With the second win in as many games the Spartans earn an emotional win over their cross-town rival by a final score of  2-1.  The two goals were scored by freshman Colin Baehman and sophomore Dagoberto Dominguez with an assist being awarded to Arturo Rocha.  Baehman also scored the season changing second goal against San Bernardino Valley College earlier in the week.

The Spartans were anchored in the back by goal keeper Seth Ketterer who finished with six saves.

With the win MiraCosta creeps up the standings earning six points this week.  The win also earns them more RPI aiming at a spot in the CCCAA State Playoffs.  Next week the Spartans play only one game, Tuesday at Mesa College at 7pm.
