After a long interview process MiraCosta College has named Ryan Frazer as the next head men's basketball coach. Frazer will take over the program from Pat Conahan who stepped away from coaching to focus on his duties as the athletic director.

Frazer comes to MiraCosta having an impressive resume with experience at the four year level, CSU Dominguez Hills and Chico State, as well as time spent at Antelope Valley College as an assistant coach.  While at AVC Frazer helped the Marauders compile a record of 68-26 which included back-to-back Western State Conference Championships.  The Marauders also posted back-to-back 20+ win seasons and continued their streak of appearances in the CCCAA State Playoffs.

Athletic director Pat Conahan says this about Coach Frazer. "We had an incredible pool of applicants for this job but Ryan stood out.  He will be a tremendous recruiter and has great experience at a variety of levels. We were also very impressed with his overall approach to building a culture that will help young men be successful."
