The MiraCosta Athletic Department is committed to suppporting student-athletes in a journey towards academic excellence. There are layers of support in place to ensure academic excellence, including the athletic counselor, athletic specialist, early alert systems, academic support (tutoring, STEM center, Math Learning Center, Writing Center) as well as a variety of workshops.
Although MiraCosta is not one of the largest athletic programs in the region it has received a number academic honors.
